The Dockwise Swift heavy vessel transporting Paceco Portainer STS gantry and Transtainer cranes to the Port of Long Beach, in California, in the US, earlier this month. The port’s decade-long, $4-billion capital improvement programme to modernise terminals and other infrastructure is the biggest of all capital improvement projects at US ports.
