A Cirrus aircraft heat exchanger and muffler manufacturer has recently been granted Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Parts Manufacturer Approval.

The Nicrocraft Cirrus SR22 heat exchanger and muffler are both constructed of heat-resistant 321 stainless steel with Inconel alloy baffles.

Wall Colmonoy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in the US, manufactures the heat exchangers and mufflers. The company’s staff include FAA-Designated Engineering Representatives (DER) and FAA-Designated Manufacturing Inspection representatives. The facility is also equipped with a suite of manufacturing machinery.

Each part is backed by a 12-month, unlimited hours warranty. Quality assurance certifications include AS9100 Rev D, ISO 9001:2015, AWS D17.1/D17.1M:2017 (welding), and FAA Repair Station #BG2R715K, FAA-DER – Exhaust Systems.

The company states that its new products and readily available stockholding of mufflers will support its operators and Cirrus service centres around the world, promising same-day shipment to its global customers.
