The Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA) has invited applications for its CEO position.

The council said in a statement on Wednesday that it was looking for a dynamic leader to take it to the next level in its mission of accelerating the property industry towards sustainability.

The GBCSA was established in 2007 and has been playing an increasingly powerful role in the mitigation of climate change, while seeking to increase its impact further.

The CEO will be tasked with managing the GBCSA team, interfacing with industry players and leveraging the council’s international connections to deliver its purpose of “inspiring a built environment in which people and planet thrive”.

Applicants should be energetic, creative and extroverted, with a passion for the green agenda.

Eligible applicants are encouraged to send their curriculum vitae to Tina Gough at tinag1711@gmail.com by March 20.
