TSX-V- and Aim-listed Galantas Gold has advised that it will only publish its full-year and interim results later this year.

This follows after the Canadian Securities Administrators published blanket relief for market participants regarding the filing of certain continuous disclosure documents as a result of Covid-19 delays and impacts.

To this end, Galantas intends to file its annual financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2019, and its interim financial statements for the quarter ended March 31, by June 15 and July 15, respectively.

Meanwhile, the company has restarted concentrate processing at its Omagh gold mine, in Northern Ireland.

The restart follows a review of Northern Ireland/UK government health advice regarding Covid-19, a risk assessment and the introduction of appropriate modifications to working practices.

Feedstock for the processing plant is from low grade stock until suitable arrangements are in place to restart development underground, Galantas advises.

The company is continuing discussions with a number of parties, involving a potential sale or joint venture agreement for the mine.
