Nonprofit umbrella body Fruit South Africa (SA) has appointed Fhumulani Ratshitanga acting CEO with effect from April 1.

This following the resignation of Dr Konanani Liphadzi, after a six-year tenure as the first CEO of Fruit SA.

Ratshitanga’s career spans over 18 years in the agricultural sector.

She has also served as Fruit SA’s industry affairs manager since July 2019.

Fruit SA will announce a permanent CEO once the position has been filled.
