Industrial plastic packaging supplier Damax Kahn & Kahn (DK&K) says that the Duo Wrap dispenser, designed to simultaneously dispense cling film and foil will maintain order and hygiene in the kitchen, while alleviating the frustrating and time-consuming struggle associated with traditional box dispensers.

DK&K MD David Tromp explains that the compact new dispenser is convenient, cost- effective and eliminates the hassle and wastage that come with unrolling and cutting the desired amount of foil or cling film from a box.

“The dispenser comes standard with a 350 mm × 25 m roll of foil and a 350 mm × 100 m roll of cling film, which provides up to four times the value of traditional rolls. A bidirectional stainless steel blade and sharp teeth also ensure accurate cutting with neat edges every time,” he notes.

The refillable rolls are not limited to wrapping food, but are also useful when wrapping clothing and utensils for camping or moving purposes, as well as for covering items when painting. The Duo Wrap can be wall-mounted for easy access. When placed on countertops, it will not slide off during use, because of its rubber base.

The Duo Wrap was designed and manu- factured for DK&K by Cape Town-based plastic product manufacturer New Generation Plastics (NGP).

NGP MD Eugene Sauermann says that the Duo Wrap is made from acrylonitrile buta- diene styrene, which boasts excellent strength and impact resistance characteristics to provide the user with peace of mind that the unit is highly durable and easy to wipe clean.

Tromp says that a considerable amount of research and development was undertaken to make the Duo Wrap appealing to the end-user. “We approached NGP to manufacture the product, following requests from our clients. Our answer to this request is a user-friendly and cost-effective unit that is ideally suited to residential and hospitality industry applications,” he states.

He concludes that DK&K, as a company that understands the fast-paced business environment, does its utmost to ensure that customers receive unsurpassed service at all times, noting its wealth of experience in the packaging and plastics market, and its service excellence, reliability and innovative and sustainable solutions.
