In its third participation at bauma CONEXPO AFRICA, machinery and tools manufacturer Husqvarna South Africa (SA) will exhibit ergonomic and user-friendly products designed for high productivity and consumer satisfaction.

At the event, Husqvarna SA will also launch its dust and slurry management systems, which will protect users from dust exposure, minimise unnecessary wear and tear on equipment and reduce equipment clean-up time.

The company has spent a lot of time on research and development and produced quality products for users, says Husqvarna SA GM Pieter Smuts. “These products will provide construction professionals with a range of machines, diamond tools and accessories to cut, saw, drill, demolish, grind and polish concrete.”

By developing ergonomic construction equipment, Husqvarna created products that can easily adapt to operators, the customer’s business and the surrounding environment without fail.

The company aims to capture the attention of construction companies seeking quality, ergonomics, productivity and reliability as they enable users to complete tasks swiftly and efficiently with no downtime or delays, owing to its well-balanced power formula.

Husqvarna SA floor saws are the ideal choice for companies seeking products that complement the strengths of users while minimising the efforts and limitations of the job. They are designed to adjust to the work while enabling interplay between the user, the machine and the diamond blade.

Husqvarna SA will also exhibit its floor grinding machine, which is specifically designed for preparing, grinding and polishing concrete floors as well as repairing and polishing terrazzo and other natural surfaces. All Husqvarna floor grinders are equipped with the quick-fit RediLock diamond tool system which is an instant and hassle-free system for changing diamond tools allowing workers to save time.

Visitors to the company stand will be treated to a display of hand-held heavy-duty machines, including petrol, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric power cutters. The power cutters stand out because the user can safely work with high precision, less effort and optimal efficiency.

Husqvarna’s core drilling system is also on view. The company developed the drill motors, drill stands and diamond bits by assessing the whole system, to identify parts that require improvement and ensure more effortless drilling, giving their clients double the production rate.

A range of early-entry saws will also be exhibited, developed for ultra-early sawing of contraction joints after pouring concrete slabs, rounding off Husqvarna’s display. These saws are the optimal solution to reduce the risk of random cracking, which is a costly problem that concrete contractors face.

According to Husqvarna SA, the wire saw range is unique, owing to a powerful, compact, modular CS 2512 with hydraulic power and a flexible but easy to install CS 10 with high frequency electric power. To form a complete and capable wire and wall sawing system, Husqvarna combined the CS 10 with its wall saws WS 482 HF or WS 440 H.

Husqvarna, therefore, hopes to gain brand and range exposure at the exhibition through its array of equipment.
