We are on the hunt for an E&C Manager to provide support for our client’s wind and PV pipeline project developments. Our client is a leader in the fight to alleviate the effects of the climate emergency and push towards a decarbonised energy model. To be the E&C Manager we’re looking for, you will need a Diploma in Engineering as well as at least 9+ years experience in renewable energy projects – which includes experience in the development and execution of Greenfield projects in South Africa! You will have uncontested expertise in wind technology over the full project lifecycle which will shine through in your application. You are someone who prioritises the safely of your team and those around you, and won’t find it a challenge to stick to project deadlines and budgets. You are a stickler for quality, ensuring only the highest quality outputs are produces. Your responsibilities will include team development, guiding the project and area teams to ensure their targets are met, conducting site visits throughout the project lifecycles, conducting the project hand overs to the O&M team, and providing technical support to the BD team throughout different project stages. It is important that you have great communication skills as you will find yourself needing to liaise with various team members as well as subcontractors.
