Dimension Data on Wednesday announced the appointment of Grant Bodley as Middle East and Africa (MEA) CEO, succeeding Derek Wilcocks, who would assume an executive role in the global group from October 1.

Bodley had been Dimension Data MEA sales director since 2012, prior to which he headed up the group’s MEA information technology (IT) outsourcing business.

Dimension Data group CEO Brett Dawson believed Bodley’s strong business background and IT focus would enable him to bridge the gap between IT and business for Dimension Data clients.

Dimension Data MEA MD Sean Joubert would also be taking up an executive position within the global group from October 1.
