Construction equipment retailers Case Construction Equipment will showcase its new 570T backhoe loader at BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA 2015.

The 570T comprises a turbocharged, four-cylinder S8000-series engine manufactured by industrial vehicle powertrains manufacturer FPT Industrial.

The backhoe loader offers high torque and best-in-class fuel economy, Case Construction Equipment states. The S-shaped boom has been designed for advanced digging and lifting performance, while its heavy-duty structure ensures strength and durability. The company further claims that the 570T reaches deeper than any other backhoe loader in its market segment, with the Extendahoe dipper version reaching up to 5.58 m.

The lifting hook welded to the bucket linkage provides operators with high flexibility, especially when they need the rear arm of the backhoe loader to lift and handle suspended objects, states Case Construction Equipment.

The front axle is designed to handle heavy-duty applications even in extreme conditions and the easy serviceability of the backhoe loader maximises uptime and productivity, while contributing to the low costs of operation.

In addition, the 570T is equipped with the largest cab in the industry, which is ergonomically designed to provide a comfortable workstation with all-round visibility.

The backhoe loader has been specifically designed and engineered to provide reliable performance and a fast return on investment, says Case Construction Equipment.

“This model shares the DNA of the long lineage of Case backhoe loaders, built on the company’s long history of industry-firsts, which include the world’s first factory-built tractor loader backhoe, introduced in 1957,” the company attests.

Case Construction Equipment has sold more than 600 000 backhoe loaders since 1957, it adds.

Further, Case Construction Equipment will also display its 821F wheel loader, which is particularly appreciated in the mining and quarrying industries, at BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA 2015, says the company.

The F-Series wheel loader delivers fast acceleration and cycle times, high travel speeds and productivity, as well as reduced fuel consumption. The benefits of the F-Series for construction businesses have led to these machines’ steadily growing success in the Southern Africa region, says Case Construction Equipment.

Further, the Case Construction Equipment stand will display the CX210B and CX290B crawler excavators on steel tracks. These robust and rugged machines are built for durability and performance, while the exceptional fuel efficiency and long service intervals result in low operating costs.

An 885B grader, equipped with a powerful engine, rugged A-frame and moldboard design, with convenient serviceability, will also be displayed.

Exhibition Involvement
Case Construction Equipment announced in July that it would participate in the second BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA 2015 exhibition, which will be held in Johannesburg from September 15 to 18.

In collaboration with its distributor CSE, the brand will showcase its full line of equipment and complete solutions for construction businesses, which include retail financing, expert service and strong parts support.

Following the success of the first event in 2013, then known as bauma Africa 2013, it is expected that this year’s event’s attendance will be high, states Case Construction Equipment.

The company aims to raise its profile and create awareness of the comprehensive support it provides for customers in South Africa and other markets in the region through its strong dealer network.

“The African continent offers great opportunities for growth,” says Case Construction Equipment parent company CNH Industrial VP Andy Blandford.

“The Maghreb region and sub-Saharan Africa – particularly South Africa – are key markets for Case, which has strong dealers in most of the larger African markets and offers the type of equipment that our customers need: robust, reliable machines able to operate in the toughest conditions, and at the right cost of ownership,” he explains.

Case’s network of strong dealers, which reaches most of the major African markets, has the support, resources and organisation of parent company CNH Industrial.

In South Africa, Case Construction Equipment has been active since 1960 and the brand supports its customers in partnership with its distributor CSE – an established collaboration dating back to 1989. CSE covers the country through five branches and 24 dealers. Technical support is provided by its service network, which operates 15 service vehicles and a team of qualified technicians.
