The Competition Commission has appointed Bukhosibakhe Majenge legal services divisional manager, effective April 1.

The commission advised on Tuesday that Majenge would take over from Wendy Ndlovu, who had been appointed manager in the office of the Commissioner.

Majenge had worked for the commission for over seven years, having joined as corporate compliance head in 2008. He was appointed principal legal counsel in 2009 and had been acting manager of the legal services division since September 2014.

Majenge was admitted as an attorney in 2000 and holds a BProc and LLM from the University of Fort Hare and the University of South Africa respectively.

“Majenge is a welcome addition to the commission’s team as we strengthen our legal team. His appointment is also a testimony to the commission’s depth of talent,” Commissioner Tembinkosi Bonakele said.
