Lighting technology manufacturer BEKA Schréder, last month, announced the launch of the ECOBAY, a light-emitting diode (LED) lighting range with a high return on investment.

According to BEKA Schréder, ECOBAY is the ideal luminaire for lighting industrial facilities at optimised light levels, and delivers the best solution for lowbay and highbay applications.

The ECOBAY also offers substantial energy savings, high performance and is able to operate at high temperatures. “It will meet all your expectations in a valued investment,” according to BEKA Schréder.

Available with four typical lumen packages and various light distributions, the ECOBAY is ideally suited for multiple indoor lighting applications.

BEKA Schréder highlights that the ECOBAY not only lowers customers’ initial investment, but it maximises it by providing a comfortable environment for staff while limiting energy consumption to what is absolutely necessary.

Owing to ECOBAY’s reliable performance, low dust accumulation and lack of a need for relamping and regular maintenance, the ECOBAY is the luminaire of choice, says BEKA Schréder

.

The company highlights a range of key advantages, such as the product being designed and manufactured locally, and available with a clear glass or polycarbonate protector, or with an opaque polycarbonate protector.

The high efficiency and energy savings offered can also replace up to 400 W high-intensity discharge light sources.

ECOBAY is also available with optional ingress protection 66 rated connectors, and has optimised heatsink design by means of vertical ribs for heat dissipation for up to 210 W.

Anti-rotation fixation is also possible with ECOBAY.

ECOBAY is designed to operate LED light sources of up to 210 W in an ambient temperature environment of at least 25 ºC, without reducing the useful lifetime of up to 100 000 hours, at a lumen depreciation of not more than 30%.

ECOBAY can reach ambient temperatures of up to 45 °C, and has a long lifetime and requires low maintenance, as lamps do not need to be replaced for more than 10 years.
