Creamer Media has some good news with which to end the year.  Both our print and online readership numbers have grown during 2016.

According to the latest ABC figures, for the period July to September, both Engineering News and Mining Weekly’s circulation have increased, including our paid circulation numbers.   A summary of our circulation figures is as follows:

Engineering News – Print Magazine

• Weekly circulation:  10 793 (paid circulation increased to 3 931 from 3 815 for the same period last year)
• Weekly readership:  60 440  (based on a surveyed pass-on readership of 5.6 readers per copy)

Mining Weekly – Print Magazine

• Weekly circulation:  10 426 (paid circulation increased to 3 761 from 3 457 for the same period last year)
• Weekly readership:  62 556 (based on a surveyed pass-on readership of 6 readers per copy)

The largest proportion of our subscriber base’s magazines is hand delivered to our readers’ offices and homes in order to ensure a timely and efficient delivery of the weekly magazines.  

We also continue to distribute our magazines through the following channels:

• Selected retail outlets
• Bulk deliveries to large corporations and embassies
• South Africa’s international airports
•  SAA Lounges at airports in Harare, Lagos and Lusaka

Our online readership also continues to grow.  Herewith an outline of our key online readership figures:
