Butterfly valves are a quarter-turn valve utilised to either isolate or regulate the flow of a fluid.

A disc in the body of the valve is positioned perpendicular or horizontally to the flow in the closed position and rotated one quarter of a turn to be parallel to the flow in the fully opened position. Intermediate rotations allow regulation of flow.

Ask BMG about their extensive offering of valves.
