Manufacturing company Sena Windows has been supplying a range of automotive products to the South African transport industry for nearly 40 years.

Sena Windows specialises in manufacturing automotive parts such as windows and mirrors – which are custom-made to client specifications and meet the highest quality and safety standards – as well as escape hatches and doors for buses, trains, heavy duty vehicles and sprinters.

The company’s distribution arm buys and sells various related products, including aluminium extrusions, mirrors and mirror arms, wiper motors, wiper arms and blades, sun blinds and visors, non-slip safety vinyl flooring and heater demisters, as well as tapes and adhesives from diversified manufacturing company 3M, including extreme sealing tape for water leaks.

However, the company is also the sole distributor of Italian-made SPAL axial fans and blowers throughout Africa, which are useful in the mining and construction industries, among others.

Sena Windows’ range of high-performance 12V and 24V SPAL fans and blowers are specially designed to meet the requirements of new generation cooling systems in every industry. SPAL fans and blowers have a range of applications for construction equipment and machinery, including engine bay and hydraulic cooling.

The IP68-certified SPAL motors used in the SPAL brushed axial fans are waterproof, which means they are protected against the ingress of solid and liquid agents, making them ideal for the mining industry.

SPAL fans deliver proven fuel savings, longer life and reduced emissions because they are light weight and designed to operate at optimum efficiency.

SPAL high-performance axial fans and blowers are designed to function efficiently well beyond scheduled servicing and maintenance. The SPAL brushed centrifugal blowers, for example, can last between 5 000 hours and 20 000 hours.

Sena Windows believes that this explains why the Spal brand is often chosen by original-equipment manufacturers, and is ideal for the demanding world of mining.

Sena Windows is a based in Kew, Johannesburg and is a Level 4 broad-based black economic empowerment contributor and an ISO 9001:2015 company.
