Real estate investment trust Attacq has adapted its strategy to a precinct-focused approach, with about 70% of its portfolio value now coming from Waterfall City Precinct, the company noted during an update briefing on November 29.

Work has continued to develop Waterfall City into a smart, safe and sustainable city.

Attacq has completed the Waterfall City Collaboration Hub and Building 6 of the Waterfall City Corporate Campus.

Other developments in the Waterfall Inner City that are currently under way include the Cotton On head office and distribution centre and the R1-billion Vantage data centre, which is slated for completion next year.

Other developments under construction in Waterfall City include a residential hub and a logistics Hub.

Attacq is continuing to implement its exit strategy for the Rest of Africa retail investments.

The company also highlighted its continued focus on environmental, social and governance aspects, as well as innovation and technology.
