JSE-listed Allied Electronics (Altron) has appointed Andrew Holden acting CFO, effective October 19.

This follows the resignation by acting CFO Tim Jacobs, who will assume a permanent CFO role at a multinational group as from October 19.

Holden is currently Altron COO and will assume a joint role.

"Holden has extensive experience in the information and communications technology sector, having been with the Altron group for the past 24 years.

"The board thanks Jacobs for his contribution to the company and wishes him well in his future endeavours," Altron stated on Thursday.
