As one of South Africa’s largest storage and construction equipment manufacturers, Acrow has pioneered reliable and efficient storage, materials handling and construction solutions since 1946. 

With a staff of over 300 people, Acrow has representatives and agents throughout the country and the rest of Africa, as well as internationally. The company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is based in Wadeville, Germiston, and it has branches and warehousing facilities in Cape Town, Durban and Italy.  

Products

Available in component form for self-assembly or as part of the company’s professional design and installation service, Acrow products can be tailor-made to meet specific requirements and include:

  • scaffolding
  • formwork

  • a wide range of associated products  

Using its vast knowledge and expertise in adding value to steel, Acrow has developed new strut and reticulation solutions for the electrical and construction sector, manufactured according ISO 9001:2015 standards. 

Acrow’s materials handling products are manufactured according to South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) ISO 9001:2008 standards, with full traceability, calibration, quality and load testing. In addition, all manufacturing complies with the storage equipment manufacturers association, European materials handling federation and British standard European norm 15512:2009 standards. 

Laboratory-tested to the highest quality, Acrow products are manufactured in-house and are backed by excellent after-sales service. In addition, Acrow is a level four broad-based black economic empowerment company and operates according to the manufacturing, engineering and related services sector education and training authority (MERSETA) guidelines.
