Established in 1981, Germiston-based PACE Valves provides fit-for-purpose valve solutions to all major industrial, mining and commercial sectors in South Africa and beyond, for applications in the mining, minerals beneficiation, chemical, petrochemical, water treatment and distribution, iron and steel production, power generation and pulp and paper industries.

The company asserts that it aims to accurately determine its customers’ technical and commercial requirements to identify the most appropriate source of supply, based on specification, price, and availability. In addition, the company offers ongoing after-sales service and support.

PACE Valves is a project house that manufactures and supplies a range of fit-for-purpose valves, actuators, and accessories for a wide variety of process application or plant requirements.

Products are designed to withstand the process-specific environment in which they are to be installed, and are available in a variety of materials, pressure classes, end connections, manual, or actuated products that can also be certified if required.

The company’s range of valves includes ball valves, bellows, butterfly valves, check valves, control valves, diaphragm valves, gate valves, globe valves, knife gate valves, needle valves, plastic valves, plug valves, pressure reducing valves, pressure relief valves and strainers.

Its portfolio of actuators includes electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, filter regulators, limit switch boxes, positioners, proximity sensors and solenoids.

PACE Valves services both local and international markets and says that its growth and expanded global footprint have led to the loss of its broad-based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) certification. However, to ensure continued support for customers and original-equipment manufacturers that require BBBEE compliance in the South African market, the company has established PACE Industries International, which holds a Level 2 BBBEE certificate of compliance with 51% black female ownership.

The company affirms that it continues to grow by supporting infrastructure development, industrial operations, and engineering projects with valve solutions such as the Phoenix MFC direct sealing diaphragm valve which is specifically suited for industrial, mining, municipal, irrigation and fire protection applications.

The main feature of the valve is that is has no shafts, seals or guiding which could be corroded or eroded by dirty, abrasive or chemically contaminated media. The valve can be installed in any position, making it suitable for a wider range of applications.

PACE Valves will be exhibiting at the upcoming Electra Mining exhibition and will be available to discuss details of the Phoenix MFC valve and any of its other products and services.
