A new South African Airways (SAA) Voyager travel rewards mobile application (app) has been launched. Features of the app include additional transactional functions such as updating personal details, personal identification number - or PIN - reset, award requests, claiming missing miles, converting miles and donating miles.
SAA Voyager launched its app as a short term intervention, with the aim of integrating it with the SAA app when it is relaunched later in 2019. The relaunched app will allow customers to transact with SAA and Voyager on a single platform for check-in, printing of boarding passes, making and changing reservations as well as transacting on their Voyager accounts.
“Customer insights were a key driver in the design and development of the SAA Voyager app with our Africa-based members in mind, where 80% access the Internet via their mobile phones,” says SAA customer loyalty executive, Suretha Cruse.
