The National Cleaner Production Centre South Africa (NCPC-SA) invites companies, particularly SMMEs and start-ups,  in Limpopo to register to attend a Sustainable Finance Workshop to be hosted in Polokwane on 8 November 2022. The workshop will advise and equip delegates to seek out and apply for finance for green energy / water interventions, and other green economy projects.

The workshop, which is free to attend, takes Place at Bolivia Lodge, Duiwelskloof Road, from 9:00 to 15:30.

Businesses that have limited options when it comes to access to renewable energy and energy-efficient equipment due to cost constraints and limited skills to acquire funding from the relevant institutions will benefit from attending the Sustainable Finance Workshop. The Workshop will provide businesses with financial linkages to funders and help businesses develop bankable business proposals for green project funding opportunities.

Through its Sustainable Finance Workshops, as well as online guides and tools, the NCPC-SA facilitates access to green finance mechanisms and incentives for industry. For more information download The Financial Guideline for the Development of Bankable Business Proposals for Clean Energy Projects.

Whilst the NCPC-SA itself is not in a position to provide financing for companies, this industry support programme can provide free assessments where appropriate and assist in the development of necessary technical reports to support applications.

Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with multiple bank and grant funding institution representatives and discuss their challenges with experts.

Who can attend?
