Software provider Softline Pastel Payroll has introduced a new automated human resources (HR) solution specifically for small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) businesses.
Softline Pastel Payroll MD Grant Lloyd says that the HR software is affordable and can be deployed quickly and easily. Developers focused on ease of use and suitability for any type or size of business in the SME sector, making it easy to implement and control.
βIt is about SME businesses automating processes they are already carrying out and it handles technology in the South African Revenue Service and Department of Labour space,β he says.
The software also provides a formal employment contract template and enables performance reviews to be easily and regularly conducted.
The software can also track disputes and disciplinary actions in line with legislative requirements. All relevant data is held in the system and can easily be accessed for any disciplinary hearing or Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration dispute in the Labour Court.
It can also track company assets held and used by employees, including the date of purchase, the price, replacement and disposal dates, as well as whether the asset must be returned to the company once employ- ment is terminated. Pictures of the assets can also be linked and stored on the system.
A timeline can be printed to show in sequence all HR processes pertaining to any employee. Company vacancies and specific requirements of a position can also be tracked through the system.
