Copper tubes manufacturer MetaleN endeavoured to extend its range of locally produced tubes over the past 24 months. An increased focus on value addition to its existing tubes, as well as developing a new range of tubes and solutions to accommodate a wider range of applications, came to fulfilment. Within the development phase, MetaleN focused on higher efficiency, smarter solutions for its clients and a wider range for an ever changing heat exchange market. The increased range of products now includes steel-on-steel laser welded finned tubes, for large boiler applications in various sizes, up to 38 mm inner tube and 68 mm fin height.
Laser welding technology for improved structural integrity for high heat applications and finned tubes that can be produced in lengths exceeding 13.5 m.
Spacer addition finned tubes in various alloys, sizes and fin height, which is a unique MetaleN concept with a registered product design, protected and trademarked. When customers work with MetaleN, the company will go above and beyond to find the correct solutions for any application.
Cu-on-Cu high finned tubes, which can be laser welded for better structural integrity. MetaleN spent two years developing a method to produce these tubes, and can confidently compete with any imported tube.
Cu-extruded medium high fin in hard or soft condition, which are used for heat pumps, smaller water boilers and generator applications.
Additionally, MetaleN can also supply copper elbows in various sizes.
