K exhibition: SEI Laser will be present with a stand dedicated to the laser solutions of the Plastic world

SEI Laser, a leading manufacturer of laser systems for the Plastic Market since 1982, will be present at the next edition of K, the triennial world’s leading trade fair for plastics and rubber that will be held in Dusseldorf from the 16th to 23rd of October 2019. At SEI Laser stand, which will be in Hall 4 stand B22, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the latest technological innovations introduced for the Plastic Converting market and to discover the complete range of laser systems specifically designed for processing, cutting, marking and converting acrylic sheets, plastics and plastic films for flexible packaging.

SEI Laser will present Mercury, the fastest “top of the range” professional laser system available on the market for acrylic laser cutting and marking, and Packmaster, the laser system for plastic films cutting, scoring, marking and perforation that will be present as world premiere and integrated into a Bimec slitter rewinder machine.

Mercury is the perfect and flexible solution for different application areas: plastic and acrylic cutting, Sign Industry, POP/POS Display cases, backlight & Lighting, Jobshop and electronics. It is specifically designed to meet all customers’ needs thanks to over 100 configurations developed to process materials with a working area up to 2000x4000mm and to make the system suitable for each environment and production site: fixed work table, fixed table extension, dual tables for loading/unloading, with the drawers or with conveyor.

Packmaster Line is the line of innovative laser systems that meet the needs of converters and meet all the latest innovations in the flexible packaging market: easy opening, windows, micro / macro-perforation, to guarantee breathability and the possibility of microwave cooking are just some of the laser applications specifically developed for this market. A cutting-edge line of laser systems that can be integrated into any existing production line and can process different kind of materials such as PE, PET, PP, nylon, PTFE, laminated film, paper, always at high productivity.

Every day at K there will be unique live demonstrations that will give visitors the opportunity to see the processing of different kind of materials: acrylic, paper and plastic films.

SEI Laser systems can be integrated into automated digitally control production processes and they are in compliance with the Industry 4.0 certification.

SEI Laser technology will be present also at WM Thermoforming Machines booth (Hall 3 - A16), with an “integrated laser application” on a thermoforming line.
