Massachusetts-based commercial supplier of industrial-grade cleaning equipment Daimer Industries has added a new line of disinfecting equipment to its KleenJet range.
Daimer health compliance product representative Matthew Baratta says the Ultra 8441-360 CVP steam vacuum cleaners support hospital-quality sanitising, wet and dry extraction and super dense steam in a single, affordable machine.
The steam vacuum cleaners incorporate proprietary Advanced Thermal Ionic Sanitisation (Atis) disinfecting technology, which is laboratory-tested and cost effective.
It adds that Atis is compliant with the standards and regulations set by the US Environmental Protection Agency. Testing done by a testing facility in North America shows that the technology effectively eliminates a range of germs and microorganisms.
The company states that the technology has been proven to destroy more than 99% of the tested microorganisms. The tests have been repeated and conducted on germ varieties, including lethal methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus bacteria and mould.
Further, the cleaners’ wet and dry extraction units have been designed to capture moisture, dirt particles, mites, dust and allergenic pollen. The machines are also effective for bed bug removal applications. All extracted waste is fully filtered by a system designed to leave air fresh and odour free.
Each of the 415 V, 4 850 W machines provides rated levels of pressure that can reach 120 psi and rated levels of heat of up to 165 ºC. The extraction technology supports suction rated at 2 200 mm of water column lift. The steam vacuum cleaners support a total of 14 ℓ of extracted waste capacity.
Meanwhile, the company has begun bundling a new patented floor head with its twin-vacuum XTreme Power XPH-9350 carpet cleaning equipment.
The industrial-strength heads employ patented engineering that boosts extraction by about 40%, the company reports.
The custom-engineered wand incorporates adjustability and new-generation technology to boost suction. “The head’s increased extraction capabilities make it comparable with a third vacuum or extraction motor, but without the extra cost,” explains Baratta.
The patented head, which offers unique rugged components that resist chemicals and rust, ensures long hassle-free operation, he adds.
In addition, the XPH-9350’s custom floor head has been manufactured from bantamweight materials that resist impact and damage from chemical cleaners and solutions.
The 30-cm-wide floor head enhances suction in various ways. The soft technology of the head grasps rug fibres better for an improved seal, which boosts the suction efficiency for the two included vacuum motors.
The new heads are adjustable to increase the sealing capabilities for a range of head and carpet angles.
