Xylem

Xylem is a global water technology company that designs, manufactures and services solutions for water and wastewater applications. The company is headquartered in Washington, D.C., United States, and operates in more than 150 countries across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East and Africa. Xylem is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol XYL. The company provides products and services across the water cycle, including water supply, treatment, testing, monitoring, infrastructure and reuse applications. Its portfolio includes pumps, valves, meters, analytics, controls and digital solutions for utilities, industrial, commercial and residential customers. Xylem serves municipal water authorities, industrial facilities, commercial buildings and residential properties. The company employs approximately 17,000 people worldwide and generates annual revenue of around $5.2-billion. Xylem was created in 2011 when it was spun off from ITT Corporation as an independent publicly traded entity focused exclusively on water technology.
