WBHO

WBHO (Wilson Bayly Holmes-Ovcon) is a South African construction and civil engineering group. The company is headquartered in Johannesburg and operates across sub-Saharan Africa, Australia and the United Kingdom. WBHO is listed on the JSE Limited and is one of the country's largest construction firms by revenue and market capitalisation. Its core activities span building construction, civil engineering, roads and earthworks, and mechanical and electrical engineering. The group serves infrastructure, mining, commercial, industrial and residential sectors. WBHO operates through several divisions and subsidiaries, including WBHO Construction, Probuild (Australia), and specialist units for roads, pipelines and plant hire. The company employs thousands of people across its operations and has delivered major projects including hospitals, airports, shopping centres, power stations and mining infrastructure. WBHO was formed through the merger of Wilson Bayly Holmes and Ovcon in 1970 and has grown to become a significant player in the southern hemisphere construction market.
