Reunert

Reunert is a South African diversified industrial group with operations spanning electrical engineering, information and communication technology, and applied electronics. The company is headquartered in Johannesburg and is listed on the JSE Limited. Reunert operates through several business segments, including electrical engineering products and services, ICT solutions, and defence and security technologies. The group manufactures and distributes a wide range of products, from cables and electrical components to telecommunications equipment and electronic systems. Reunert holds market-leading positions in several of its core sectors within South Africa and has expanded its footprint across sub-Saharan Africa. The company employs several thousand people and generates annual revenue in the billions of rand. Principal subsidiaries and brands include CBI-electric: low voltage, African Cables, Fuchs Electronics, and Reutech. Reunert was founded in 1888 and has evolved from its origins as an electrical engineering business into a diversified industrial conglomerate with interests in mining support products, renewable energy components, and advanced technology systems.
