Some odd places in my time
The town of Aggeneys (place of water) is located some 65 km west of Pofadder, on the N14 highway to Springbok. Nearby towns are Okiep, Nababiep, Pella and Concordia. 'Aggeneys' is not pronounced to rhyme with 'knees', but is pronounced 'Ak En Hase'.13 Feb 09
