Godwin

Godwin is a manufacturer of portable pumps and pumping systems for dewatering, bypass and fluid-transfer applications. The company produces diesel- and electric-powered pumps designed for temporary and emergency pumping in construction, mining, municipal, industrial and environmental projects. Godwin pumps are used for mine dewatering, site drainage, sewage bypass, flood control and process water management. The brand is recognised for its self-priming centrifugal pumps, which can handle solids-laden water and operate in remote or challenging locations. Godwin equipment is deployed globally, with a strong presence in the mining sector where reliable dewatering is critical to operations. In southern Africa, Godwin pumps are supplied through authorised distributors serving mining operations in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The company is part of Xylem, a global water technology provider. Godwin pumps are often hired or leased for short-term projects, though they are also sold for permanent installations. The brand has a long history in the pumping industry and is widely specified for high-flow, high-head applications in mining and civil engineering.
