 Abstract: The French government intends to raise both the wreckage of Air France Airbus A330-200 F-GZCP and bodies of the victims of its crash into the South Atlantic. The crash happened in the early morning of June 1, 2009 and a total of 228 people lost their lives; 51 bodies were recovered from the surface of the sea, leaving 177 unaccounted for. One of the victims was a South African.
