Zuma appoints Itac commissioners

President Jacob Zuma has appointed six new commissioners to the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (Itac) on a part-time basis for a period of three years, from October 1.

The newly appointed commissioners were South African Ambassador Faizel Ismail, Asanda Languza, Nkululeko Khumalo, Hlokammoni Grathel Motau, Hendrik Langenhoven and Boipusio Modise.

Zuma also reappointed Boikanyo Mokgatle, Etiene Vlok and Tanya van Meelis.

Itac’s core functions included customs tariff investigations, trade remedies and import and export control.
