The project is wholly owned by Pennyroyal (Gibraltar), a special purpose vehicle created specifically to undertake the development, with all local operations conducted through Pennyroyal (Gibraltar) Zanzibar, a 100%-owned subsidiary.

Project Description
The project involves the construction of a resort that will host an array of premium residency options, ranging from penthouse condominiums to beachside villas and private islands.

The development will feature an exclusive portfolio of five international hotel brands, East Africa’s first signature golf course and deep-water marina, alongside attractions such as a glamorous souk and tropical aqua park.

The project is expected to take eight years to complete.

Latest Developments
Clearance and preconstruction preparation works started in September, including the provision of a 20 km public road leading up to the resort entrance, other access roadways, site clearance, perimeter walls and entrance preparation.

The plan is to have the marina, golf course and all infrastructure work, including roads and services, for the whole resort completed within three years.
