To the east of the Maitland Strategic Industrial Area (MSIA), within the MSIA buffer area, about 15 km from Karratha, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Project Description
The proposed solar facility includes a solar PV farm comprising up to one-million solar panels and solar plant supporting infrastructure, including a battery energy storage system, an electrical substation and an access road.

The farm will have an initial capacity of up to 100 MW. Future expansions of 100 MW each over five stages could expand solar generation capacity up to 500 MW.

Electricity will be delivered to industrial customers through the North-West Interconnected System, which provides for the connection of new generators and loads.
