Laurence Cohen
Real estate investment trust (Reit) Vukile Property Fund has appointed Laurence Cohen as CFO designate, effective March 1.
He will succeed Vukile’s FD Mike Potts and be appointed to the Vukile board of directors on July 1, after Potts’ planned retirement on June 30.
Cohen, a chartered accountant, previously served as Hyprop Investments FD for nearly 15 years.
He has also led the South African Reit Association’s Accounting and JSE Committee and was instrumental in formulating the Best Practice Recommendations for the sector.
