Project Description
Villanueva is the largest PV facility under construction in the Americas and Enel’s largest solar project worldwide.

The project comprises the 427 MW Villanueva 1 and the 327 MW Villanueva 3 solar parks, which are being built simultaneously. The power plant is expected to generate more than 1 700 GWh/y, equivalent to the energy consumption needs of more than 1.3-million Mexican households.

The project will prevent the emission of more than 780 000 t of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
