Project Description
The project involves the construction of four VLACs, each capable of transporting 93 000 m3 of ammonia, making them the largest vessels of their class in the world.

The VLACs will be equipped with Hanwha Ocean’s shaft generator motor systems and smart ship platforms.

They will also be equipped with an ammonia dual-fuel engine, which will enable the shipowner to convert the carriers to use ammonia propulsion in the future. To meet current and projected greenhouse-gas emissions regulations, these new-build vessels will also incorporate an ecofriendly design with enhanced efficiency.
