The projects are being undertaken in Bellville, in the Western Cape, and Kliprivier, in Gauteng, South Africa.

Project Description
The project aims to install new production equipment at Twinsaver’s operations in Belville and Kliprivier.

The first project involved the installation of a two-ply converting line at Twinsaver’s Bellville factory, which will double two-ply production capacity.

The second project will involve the construction of new facilities and the installation of a new tissue manufacturing machine at Kliprvier. 
This will allow for an output of more than 27 000 t/y.

Jobs to be Created
The projects will create additional employment across the tissue value chain.

Value
Twinsaver spent R80-million in the Western Cape.

Duration
The Belville project was unveiled in August this year.

Expected to start next year, the Kliprivier project should take 15 months to complete.
