Project Description
The Tsitsikamma Community Wind Farm is a 95 MW wind farm on amaMfengu community land, in the Eastern Cape. Thirty-one Vestas wind turbines will be installed, each with a hub height of 94 m and a capacity of 3 MW.

The project was selected in May 2012, following the second bidding round held under the Department of Energy’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme.
