GRW has announced the appointment of Johan Richards as the company’s new group commercial executive.
Established in 1996, GRW designs and manufactures road tankers and trailers for the bulk transport market, and also provides financial, maintenance and repair services to fleet operators across Southern African and the UK.
The company has a production facility in Worcester, in the Western Cape, and is developing and expanding its operations in Gauteng.
“With Johan’s more than 31 years of experience in the commercial vehicle market, the latest being as the MD of UD Trucks Southern Africa, we believe he will add a lot of value, knowledge and expertise to our operations in Gauteng,” says GRW CEO Gerhard van der Merwe.
Richards, a qualified engineer, will oversee the company’s sales and marketing activities in Gauteng.
