US President Barack Obama delivering a speech at an indoor stadium in Nairobi, Kenya, during his visit in late July. Obama used his first Presidential trip to his father's homeland – which was also the first visit by a sitting American President to Kenya – to assert that there was “no limit” to what Africans could achieve. But he also spoke bluntly about the need for Africa to deepen democracy, tackle corruption and end exclusion based on gender or ethnicity.
