Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) has assured port users that the Port of Richards Bay remains fully operational, despite a fire that started at the NCT stockpiles and conveyor belts on September 28.
TNPA and local authorities are attending to the matter.
To ensure minimal disruptions to port operations, the port has advised all cargo owners who use trucks for cargo transportation to use the truck booking system.
