Sao Paulo, Brazil, has introduced bike lanes along with new rules for drivers, tighter building laws and higher taxes, which are all intended to make the metropolis of 12-million more liveable. However, the initiatives have also reportedly contributed to Mayor Fernando Haddad’s approval rating falling to as low as 15%.
