Launched in 2007, Afri-Tech Mining Supplies (Pty) ltd has already achieved astronomic growth as a premier supplier of screen and filter cloths to the South African and international mining (and related) industries. The company made a commitment to empower its workers and created a separate engineering company with the express motivation of creating a black empowered enterprise. The supply of machinery and materials and the establishment of a new business, empowered employees to become part of Afri-Tech Engineering (Pty) Ltd, established in 2011. Afri-Tech Mining Supplies (Pty) Ltd fully support this company on an on-going basis with mentorship programs and training workshops, to ensure the same standards of excellence applied by the founder company and sales network.

Founded in a 2011, Afri-Tech Engineering (Pty) Ltd is now a standalone company, proud of its heritage, its directors, its employees and particularly the unique, high quality, locally manufactured engineering products it supplies. A milestone was reached early in 2017 when two new black directors were announced, Enoch Banda and Stephanus Mbewe. Both have welcomed the opportunity afforded them and with entrepreneurship and business training are making a solid contribution to the continued growth of this phenomenally successful enterprise.
