Sulzer provide a complete portfolio ranging from the supply of pumps and application analysis to detailed and complex turnkey projects, all fully backed locally by the company’s comprehensive aftersales services. Sulzer Pumps has a long history of manufacturing pump packages specifically suited to its customers’ needs and is able to design a pump solution to meet a customer’s requirements.

All Sulzer’s pumps are comprehensively tested to the latest ISO standards; the company ensures that its products are manufactured to the highest quality standards, providing customers with peace of mind when selecting a Sulzer product. Further, Sulzer provides onsite support during installation and commissioning. It also facilitates training programmes on maintenance and optimisation pump operations.

With a turnover well in excess of R500-million and a staff complement of 362, Sulzer Pumps & Hydro owns and operates a large scale manufacturing facility, with 22 300 m2 under roof, in Gerhardus road, Elandsfontein.

As the company’s valued and inclusive broad-based black economic-empowerment partner, Sakhumnotho Pumps holds a 25% shareholding in Sulzer Pumps South Africa.

Sulzer boasts several standards and safety accreditations, including ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 9001, as well as the National Nuclear Certification for radioactive equipment.
