Project Description
The board of directors of the General Authority of the SCZone has approved a series of projects, with international partners, in manufacturing, green hydrogen and water desalination.
The approved projects include:
- a steel complex, which will be built on 750 000 m2, with a capacity of 600 000 t/y of steel coils.
- a clothing manufacturing factory on 80 000 m2. The project will be completed in two phases. The factory is expected to produce 43-million pieces a year.
- a steel factory on 400 000 m2. The factory will be built in three phases, with a production capacity of 1.8-million tons of steel products a year.
- the construction of a tyre manufacturing project on 400 000 m2, with a production capacity of 2.4-million units a year.
- a raw materials storage area.
