PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Copper developer Straits Resources has inked an agreement with fellow-listed Sandfire Resources to buy its wholly owned Temora and Currumburrama exploration projects, in New South Wales, for A$2.5-million worth of Sandfire shares.

The Temora project comprises two exploration tenements and the Currumburrama project one tenement.

Sandfire would enter the Currumburrama project through a joint venture agreement, the details of which were not revealed.

Straits on Tuesday said the completion of the sale was subject to various conditions, including Ministerial consent.
