Project Description
The project entails the construction of a hydrogen production plant, which will use large-scale photovoltaic (PV) power generation.

The operation will produce 20 000 t/y of green hydrogen, making it the world’s biggest PV green hydrogen production project to date.

The PV power station will have an installed capacity of 300 MW and power generation of 618-million kilowatt-hours a year, an electrolysed water hydrogen plant with a capacity of 20 000 t/y, a spherical hydrogen storage tank with hydrogen storage capacity of 210 000 standard cubic metres, and hydrogen transmission pipelines with a capacity of 28 000 standard cubic metres an hour.

The project will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 485 000 t/y.
