The Southern Africa Solar Thermal and Electricity Association on Tuesday said it had appointed Ntombikanina Malinga as its new CEO, succeeding Jonathan de Vries.
Malinga has experience in the private and public sectors and is a graduate of various universities, including the University of KwaZulu-Natal, the University of Warwick and the Harvard Business School, and had received numerous academic awards.
With her vast stakeholder management experience in various sectors, including the energy sector, Malinga would be leading efforts to develop the Southern Africa market for solar concentrator energy generation technology and to unlock other opportunities.
