Project Description
The Saint Louis power station is located 5 km south of the centre of Mauritius’ capital city, Port Louis. The project will provide four medium-speed, four-stroke, heavy fuel oil-driven generators with a capacity of 15 MW each; a power station building, two 1 000 cubic metres tanks for the storage of the heavy fuel oil; and one 132 kV substation for the connection of the power plant to the electricity board’s existing electricity grid.
